Established in 2014 as Brooklyn Tax & Accounting, Inc., in a storefront location in the Bensonhurst section (now in Bergen Beach) of Brooklyn, the company grew out of the IRS VITA tax program at Brooklyn College. Members of the VITA management team went on to take the Special Enrollment Exams becoming Enrolled Agents. The knowledge that tax payers are being taken advantage of by disreputable or inexperienced tax preparers caused us to open our own firm to offer high priced services at a discounted rate. We soon came to understand our clients needed more services than just tax preparation so we opened another company Brooklyn Tax and Credit, Inc.

At Brooklyn Tax and Credit, Inc. we specialize in business consulting, tax accounting, and business credit. We utilize tax reduction strategies through out all of the financial services we provide. We prepare and file quarterly business tax returns as well as the annual income tax returns. We provide small business accounting services such as bookkeeping, payroll management, business formation, executive consulting as well as other accounting services, all with a focus on reducing the overall tax burden.

Small businesses are not only competing against each other but they are competing against multinational corporations with very deep pockets and political clout. Most small businesses fail because of a lack of capital which is why Business Credit and Financing has been added to our credit services. We aim to get businesses access to funds from alternative lenders as well as build up their business credit much faster than traditional methods.
Personal Services
For our personal clients, we offer tax and credit services. We help clients plan ahead of time to reduce tax liabilities, prepare and file the income tax returns, as well as represent taxpayers before the IRS. Credit repair has unfortunately become more necessary than ever before. We help our clients by cleaning credit reports as well as educating them away from repeating bad credit habits.
